Since its inception, the company has been under the consistent leadership of Betty and Ed Masi.
In April 2004, Seawood was acquired by Catalfumo Construction and Development and operated for the past four years as Catalfumo Construction, LLC d/b/a Seawood Builders. During this time Seawood operated as a separate division covering Broward and Dade counties and successfully completed $300 million dollars of high rise and mid-residential construction, commercial parking garages, public and private schools, public parks, and private office buildings. In April, 2008 Betty and Ed Masi reacquired the company, retaining the name of Seawood Builders.

Marketing Team
Community Real Estate Service, Inc., is a boutique real estate firm owned by partners Deidre Newton and Kerry Gallagher. Their firm’s specialty market is the West Palm Beach neighborhoods with a special focus towards commercial real estate and working with first time buyers.
Ms. Newton and Ms. Gallagher are both native Floridians and long-term community leaders in West Palm Beach. Their knowledge of the area and experience with workforce housing makes them a substantial asset to the development team.
Christina Hewitt, Neighborhood Renaissance’s Community Land Trust Manager is the remaining member of the team She has her Bachelor’s of Arts from Wayne State University in Michigan, plus over 10 years of nonprofit and governmental experience.
Since joining the organization in 2007, Ms. Hewitt has spent the majority of her time working with first-time homebuyers guiding them in achieving their dreams of homeownership.
